小盯襠 (Doraemon): Of course, this isn't about the blue Japanese cat, but taken from the homophone xiaodingdang, which is a common nickname the Chinese has given to the cat instead of its official name. The ding has been swapped for the other word ding for staring, and dang has been swapped for the dang as in the one for crotch.
I was also thinking if I should use Korean terms like noona, ahjusshi, oppa etc in my translations, since they are widely understood by K-pop fans, instead of jie, dashu, ge. Since this is a site for content from the Chinese fans' perspectives, I will be using the terms jie, dashu, ge etc. When Korean terms are found in the translations, it would mean that they have used the Korean terms in the original text.
dashu 大叔 ahjusshi uncle/middle-aged man
jie 姐/姐姐 noona/eonni older sister
ge 哥/哥哥 hyung/oppa older brother
qinma 親媽 biological mother: used in the context of how mothers will treat their children; context can be satirical or literal
