1. [+155] With 1.3 billion people China can't think of a variety and needs to copy from a country that has a population of 50 million

4. [+83] As someone who loves to watch Korean variety shows, I'm feeling really speechless regarding the issue of Chinese variety shows importing ideas... One reason being disappointed in being unable make full use of our resources while we just copy everything without innovation on our part. The other reason is, no matter how you buy over the rights, the effects just can't be as good as the original. Till now I can specify which episode of Running Man they have referenced whenever I watch the Chinese version. It hurts to see how Korea has earned so much of China's money

Korea could do this because the Korean students could see the idols daily so it isn't a rare sight and it doesn't affect the school when celebrities attend lessons there. Try this in China, and you'll get students gathering around to watch and affect their studies. Oh, there was also this variety a long time ago called School of Rock. You can buy that over and try it too.
