As the management company of EXO members Luhan and Kris (Wu Yifan), SM Entertainment (SM) has commenced infringement proceedings against Shanghai Hanshu Cosmetics Co. and Beijing Putike Technologies. As the two have made decisions on their own to arrange promotional activities for the endorser in China, the case was filed on 2015 May 18.

To prevent similar situations that would infringe SM and EXO's legal rights from arising, SM made the following official statement:

In 2014 May and October respectively, Luhan and Wu Yifan filed cases against SM Entertainment through the same legal agency. Before the hearing has even begun, Luhan and Wu Yifan were involved in various movie filming, commercial endorsements, award ceremonies and other activities in China, with the popularity that they have gotten through EXO's promotions. While these actions have infringed SM and the other EXO members' contracted rights, it has also resulted in serious contract issues between SM and other companies', both Korean and international, resulting in severe economical loss in many aspects. Also, these are immoral acts that disregard the trust between SM, and EXO.

The exclusive contract between SM and Luhan, and Kris are still legitimate before the final verdict by the court. The individual activities such as commercial endorsements are obvious acts of contract infringement, and SM will legally pursue those involved in Luhan and Wu Yifan's solo activities during this period.

SM is officially working with KING&WOOD MALLESONS regarding the case.

1. [+1293] Must be crazy to expect to earn big bucks two years after debut, when we haven't recovered all the expenses spent on you[可爱] SM has tons of planning staff to feed, and they have invested so much in you predebut, putting their focus on you for the past two years, and there you are complaining of unequal income distribution and little pay when you haven't paid off the initial investments [可爱] Although SM is inhumanely domineering, but you still butted your way in despite knowing of their antics. Weren't you eyeing for their status? [doge] Stop using your body as an excuse. Suddenly able to do everything the moment you return

2. [+1194] This is the truth. Why is it that you are the one with the right to file for contract termination after making use of EXO's popularity while others can't file a lawsuit against you? Do you think you can just walk off like this after the company's years of grooming? Don't a big guy like you know what it is to keep to a contract? Said you are full of illness, no one forced you to sign the contract, and you were involved in all sorts of activities once you came back. Getting away scot-free after causing so much harm to EXO. Your conscience may have approved that, but the law hasn't.

3. [+1151] Morals know no borders. It's very normal for SM to protect their rights

4. [+1007] SM has the rights

5. [+929] Supporting SM to protect their rights. [微笑][微笑][微笑][微笑][微笑] Some people's professionalism is seriously unbelievable

6. [+882] Supporting SM. They have to be firm [微笑]

7. [+794] Just a passerby stating his/her opinion. Responsibility first, then contract. Since they have already signed the contract back then, shouldn't they terminate the contract first before carrying out activities on their own? This is the basic principle.

8. [+727] To be honest I don't want to see the two of them [doge]

9. [+425] Attack, SM [good][鼓掌]

10. [+274] Luhan wasn't that bad. At least he took part in two concerts even when he was sick. And he told his team mates beforehand, too. As for Wu Yifan that "running man".. hehe [拜拜]

11. [+300] Supporting Luhan-ge [微笑][微笑]

12. [+288] Supporting Luhan [心]

13. [+259] Supporting Luhan

14. [+200] Lu-ge jiayou
